Ahmed Al Maghribi Kaaf — A Letter, A Layer, A Signature

Kaaf opens loud — red fruits and watermelon hit first, sharp and a little sweet, before Sicilian orange cuts through the sugar and lavender settles the whole thing down. It's a strange combination on paper, fruit and lavender in the same breath, but it works because neither one overstays.

Give it twenty minutes and the fruit backs off, handing over to sandalwood and ambroxan — that dry, almost skin-like woodiness that reads more expensive than it costs. White musk keeps the transition clean.

By the base, Kaaf turns unexpectedly marine: lotus, jasmine, lily of the valley, and a sea accord that feels less like a beach and more like humid air after rain.
